Steve Markowski

Director (A-Listers)

Stephen Markowski has been musically directing at OnStage since 2008 and has been the A-Listers director since 2018. He currently holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education from the Mason Gross School of the Arts affiliated with Rutgers University. At Mason Gross, Stephen studied with Professor Eduardo Chama and was a member of both the Rutgers University Glee Club and the Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir. He has sung as a chorus member and as a featured soloist in both the Baldwin Festival Chorus of New York and the Central Jersey Choral Society. 

Stephen has been employed by Westfield Public Schools since 2010. In addition to his current role as the general/vocal music teacher at Tamaques Elementary School, he also directs the Broadway Singers and musically directs the Spring Musical at Edison Intermediate School. Stephen is grateful beyond words for the opportunity to work with his wife Kristen and to share each summer with the campers making stories come to life!
